The C-40A is a custom, military variant of Boeing’s 737-700C Next Generation transport aircraft. Highly efficient twin CFM-56 engines provide up to 24,000 pounds of thrust each to move a payload of up to 121 passengers or 36,000 pounds over a range of 3,200 nautical miles. Exceptionally versatile, the C-40A can be quickly reconfigured to best meet operational needs. These configurations include: Passenger, allowing transport of up to 121 passengers; Cargo, permitting the loading of up to 8 pallets / 36,000 pounds of cargo; or a Combi, permitting a combination of both with up to 3 pallets /15,000 pounds of cargo and/or 70 passengers
