The MQ-1 Predator is a medium-altitude, long-endurance RPA providing commanders with a multi-mission asset, combining imagery sensors and strike capability. Power by a Rotax 914I turbocharged engine, the MQ-1 is capable of speeds up to 138 MPH and altitudes up to 24,000 feet while providing 24 hour endurance (16 hours on station). Armament consists of two laser guided Hellfire Missiles. The MQ-9 Reaper is a medium-to-high altitude, long-endurance RPA employed as a persistent hunter-killer attack and reconnaissance aircraft against dynamic targets.
The MQ-9 is powered by the Honeywell TPE-331-10YGD Turboprop Engine. The MQ-9 has a cruise speed of 230 MPH, and endurance of 14+ hours, and a ceiling of 30,000+ feet.
