The T-1A Jayhawk is the Air Force version of the Beech 400T, and provides advanced training for student pilots who will go on to fly airlift and tanker aircraft. The Jayhawk carries three crew members and four passengers and is powered by two pod-mounted Pratt and Whitney J15D-5B turbofan engines, each producing 2,900 lbs. of thrust.
