The T-38C originally produced by Northrop upgraded by Boeing, is a two seat, twin-turbojet supersonic trainer powered by two General Electric J85-GE-5 turbojet engines each producing 3,850 lbs of thrust in afterburner. This version is equipped with an all-glass cockpit with state-of-the-art avionics to include a Heads-Up display, HOTAS, GPS, and a No Drop Bomb Scoring system. The T-38C Talon is capable of speeds in the Mach 1.2 range and altitudes of up to 50,000.
